Line 6 Edit Errors and Crashes

Hi everyone, it seems there's probs to use Line 6 Edit on MAC.

Line 6 Monkey and Line 6 audio drivers work well.

Line 6 Edit can't open and say an error message when open :

 

An exception was caught.

Tried to download Java Environment on SunnSystems webpage, it says concerning Apple MAC System/OS

that the java on MACOSX is included and should check MAC UPDATE for the plateform but it cant find anything new or updates.

 

I just can't use my gears on my laptop. Especially my POD PRO XT (Updated and full ModelPacks options)

 

So what now ?

Thanks for this.  I had a similar problem.  My work laptop was ghosted and when I went to put my L6 stuff back on I couldn't figure out how to get the java environment thing going again.  You just saved me some time Looney.  Cheers.

It looks like you are using Snow Leopard as your operating system which we currently do not support.  Please check out the following link from the Snow Leopard beta users group which has more info on Edit with the OS:

Hi Loonybin, thx for your support and help, the second link is an .EXE for windows so i cant use it.

It seems that Snow leopard is not supported yet and only for the moment i hope.

I red others forums to go further in the details but i've found an answer from a Line 6 engineer, that is saying

they are working on it to make line 6 edit and snow leopard (macosx 10.6) compatible.

I guess its just a question of time...
